Seraphim Supplies 66MW of PV Modules to India
Carbon-reduced: 102710.12 ton Trees Planted: 56280
Seraphim Solar (hereafter referred as “Seraphim”), one of the highest-rated, world-class solar module manufacturers, announced that it has supplies 66MW solar PV module to Aditya Birla, for use in three projects located in Karnataka, India.
These three projects, each has a capacity of 22MW, are developed and owned by Aditya Birla. There are overall 66MW high efficiency SRP-6PA series modules been successively delivered to Village Bellatt, Village Kesaragoppa, and Village Punyahallii this March and will approximately be connected to the network before the end of this June. When these projects commissioned, there will be about 102710 tons of carbon be reduced and that equals to 56280 trees be planted. The business has received infusion of about Rs.60 crore as equity contribution from the JV partners for funding of the project, and it also gets financial supports from YES BANK.
This series of solar PV projects is just a tryout for both parties’ further cooperation. It has successfully deepen mutual understanding and will facilitate cooperation in the future.
